The WHo, What, When, How, and Why of College & Financial Aid
Every fall, Mrs. Carrow (the College & Career Counselor) and I visit 12th Grade English classrooms to go over the entire college application process. Click on the link below to learn about the College Application Process. Parents- this is also a great resource for you! Below the box, there are some helpful handouts. Please contact me or Mrs. Carrow if you have any questions or need help.
Choosing and applying to colleges
Am I eligible for a fee waiver???
Some students are eligible for free SAT and ACT waivers. In order to see if you are eligible, click on the link below. If you feel like you meet the criteria, fill out the Sharing Info Form below and return it to the School Counseling Office. It normally takes one to two days to process the request. We will notify you as soon as possible and the free codes or waivers will be given. Make sure you do not misplace the forms or codes. Students are only permitted to obtain one.
College Application week
Each fall, we dedicate a week and work together with the 12th Grade English teachers to allow the seniors to prepare for their futures by either applying to colleges/universities, researching and applying to trade schools, military preparatory, and/or writing a resume or searching for a job. It was renamed in 2023 as "Launch Your Future Week." Below are some resources that were and are still available to you.
